Masque De La Lune - Richard Monroe

Name of OC: "Masque de la Lune" His real name is Richard Monroe.

Age: 235 (appears to be in his 20's - 30's in appearance)

Gender: Male

Nationality: English

Looks: The most distinct part about his looks are his mask and his cane. Aside from those he looks like a magician-type character in a semi-formal 18th century complete with a cape and top hat. His mask it a full face, White venetian mask with Silver trim along its borders, and a crescent shape is made from ornate twists of silver decoration. The mask moves as his face, and his voice is heard from it. (underneathe the mask he has no face. Smooth skin covers where the eyes, mouth, and nose would be) His cane is an ancient looking petrified-wooden staff with unusual carvings on it. At the very top of it, there is a small crystalstone. This clashes throroughly with the rest of his suit.

History: He is a collector (ahem, thief) of many mystical artifacts. I'll explain his history at times during play. Also, due to his various artifacts, he has a wide range of abilities, but has to be careful in their use because they either have side effects or are very old and delicate. He takes great care of his collection, even if they are worthless to others and have no abilities....the sign of a true (and truly eccentric) collector.

About: Very eccentric mannerisms. Extremely dramatic for his motions.



Gear: All his artifacts have their own histories and such, and he has plenty of artifacts in storage, but for now I'm just putting down what he has on him and what they do.

Masque De La Lune (french for "Mask of the Moon") - Allows Richard to have immortailty in terms of aging, but at a price of having no face. Its also a cursed mask, so the fact that Richard is still living is due to his knowledge of mystic items.

Enchanted Gloves - Allows him to summon objects to him (but they have to be things he'd normally be able to pick up and hold with ease.

Cape of Teleportation - Allows him to teleport objects as well as himself relatively short distances (up to 100 meters away). If he cannot directly see the destination, however, it is risky to use, so normally he only uses it if he can see where he is headed.

Dimension Hole Hat - The inside of Richard's top hat is actually a doorway to a second hat that he keeps in his store room along with his other artifacts. This allows him access to his artifacts easily since he can use his gloves to bring them to him. You can only fit things through the hat things that are smaller than the hole, which is why his head doesn't get teleported to the other side.

Aztec Staff of Spirits - This mystical staff can do a wide number of things, but it is fueled by the spirits within it. Whenever the staff is used, spirits get released, and more must be captured within it in order for the staff to be used. It is said to be almost heavenly for the spirits within, but to go into or out of the staff is a painful experience. Richard uses the staff to trap the souls of Akuma into the staff itself (this also destroys the Akuma, but it keeps the souls safe from being sucked into the darkmatter)

.....he isn't on either side except his own....

......but he does hunt Akuma......but thats just to power his staff...........so he is an enemy of the Earl.....

......but on the otherhand, he is a thief who traps souls (granted, the ones he traps are already dead, mainly because he couldn't bear the thought of being considered a killer).......so the Order could consider him an enemy too, but he hasn't done anything to them......

.......so its all up to whoever is roleplaying with my character....heh....

she doesn't have a crush on anyone...
she's weird...that's all...
