an odd trip to China

*yhue is sitting under a tree in a forest near a busy town. the weather is very nice "so far, an exorcist can never enjoy sights like this" yhue thought to herself*

*Kaele sighed sadly, waiting for the train to India for her next mission in the small Chinese village. She wanted to find her father, she was so close! But she'd been assigned her next mission the night before, and she couldn't just ditch whoever was waiting for her in New Delhi. Since she was alone, Kaele didn't feel comfortable just waiting at the station for another hour, so she picked up her suitcase and began to walk around the village, keeping an eye on her watch in her pocket.*

*She wandered by a small bunch of trees on the other side of the village. She had a weird feeling and glanced behind herself. She could have sworn the face she saw sitting underneath the tree was wearing a familiar uniform...*

"Yhue?" *Kaele wondered curiously, praying that she wasn't talking to some random local.*

*yhue heard a familiar voice calling her. she looked around and saw a familiar face in the distance.

"Lady Nakamura?" she said as she stood up and walked toward the familiar figure*

"Yhue!" *Kaele exclaimed, running forward, dropping her suitcase, and glomping her friend.* "Whatcha' doin' here, buddeh?!"

" very nice to-" yhue was interupted and 'glomped' so tightly by lady nakamura that she couldn't answer her question

"i-c-canth breathe"*

"Ahh!" *Kaele exclaimed, letting go of Yhue quickly. Her face became a dark pink.* "I'm so sorry, Yhue, I was so happy to see a familiar face!"

*Kaele plopped down on the ground next to her after glancing at her pocket watch. There's no rush, so it doesn't matter if I hang out for awhile with Yhue.*

*"that's okay" Yhue replied while catching her breath. "What brings you here anyway, Lady Nakamura?"

"Well, I was in Mongolia when Chief Komui told me I have an assignment in India. So I'm just travelling across China, and it's been sort of nostalgic." *Kaele explained, feeling tired from all the travel. She stretched her arms up around the sides of her face as she talked.*

"i see then"
the time passed by so quickly. the sun was starting to set and it was almost night time...
yhue paused for a bit, looking at the sunset...
"i'm going to miss this." she said to herself*

"Nnn? What do you mean?" *Kaele asked, half asleep as she'd been for the past half hour.*

*She opened her eyes to the dying sun, retreating far past the western areas that she could comprehend. Her silver eyes dulled to grey as she thought. ... I need to get out of here, why do I always become like this whenever I return home? This isn't who I am now! Kaele shook her head, and sat up; waiting for Yhue's answer.*

"oh, nothing, nothing...it's just that..." she interupted herself.
the atmosphere was somehow lonely, as if everything was ending, just like the day...
yhue stared at Lady Nakamura, then to the setting sun.
"it's getting cold." she said, wrapping her arms around herself*

*Kaele sighed, her eyes still dull grey, even the sunset not making them shine.* "You're right..." *She brought her knees to her chin and wrapped her arms around her calves. She felt sleepy, yet on edge; alert yet calm. Kaele didn't understand what the feeling was, but she could feel the skin around her Innocence fragments twitch as the darkness made them colder.*

* yhue bent down to check on lady Nakamura
Something is wrong with Lady Nakamura

"are you ill?"
yhue asked as she placed her forehead near Lady nakamura's*

"Nnn?" *Kaele mumbled, snapping out of the slight trance the Chinese sunset had created for her.* "Oh, no I'm fine, really." *She said, lifting Yhue's hand off her forehead while smiling weakly.*

* yhue looked puzzled. she was a bit worried. something is strange.
" okay then, let us just find a place to stay for the night."
she sensed a movement in the bushes, but ignored it. she had something different on her mind at the moment*

"Okay!" *Kaele said, jumping up from the grass. She looked around. The town didn't look familar at all. She patted Yhue's arm and giggled a little.* "You can find it."

*yhue led the way...walking a bit quickly without looking back....
then she stopped for a while...
"oh..umm uhh.. *blush* do you know where to go?"
*

*Kaele sighed, skipping over to a man pulling a cart along the road.*

"Sir, do you know where an inn may be?" *She asked politely in Cantonese. The man shrugged, tapping his ears while speaking words she didn't know in a different dialect of what sounded like Mandarin. Kaele sighed in a more depressed tone, walking back to Yhue.*

"He doesn't speak Cantonese, Yhue. Do you know how to speak Mandarin?"
