New comrade

I'm not sure whether I'm right, but I'll give it a try... Michi thought with determination.

"Ah, nothing," she replied to Allen's question. "And don't call me Miss. Michi will do, but I have a question for you."

Here goes nothing, she thought.

"You...can see Akuma, can't you?"

"Hmm? Sorry Michi..." *Allen mumbled underneath his breath. He gasped a little when she asked her question. Kaele gasped also. What...? Kaele thought to herself, while this thought was running through Allen's mind; How..?!*

"Uhh..." *Allen murmured with uncertainty, memories pouring through his mind like they happened yesterday. It seemed like a stranger knowing such a fact was toying with his mind. He didn't know what to say, so he just uttered his mind.* "Yes, I can... How do you know...?"

*Kaele saw the look on his face and became concerned. He only showed this facade when he was remembering his weakness, Mana. She took hold of his left arm, the flesh trembling.*

Michi smiled sadly. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have asked, but I'm glad I did."

She looked up at Allen. "I had a feeling that you had the same ability as me. You see, I can see Akuma too. I'm glad I'm not the only one."

Michi put down her luggage and went down on both her knees. "Gomenasai, but you gave off that feeling. I assure you that I'm not an enemy."

She could hear her music playing faintly in her ears (she set it to a lower volume) and it fit the atmosphere right now.

*Allen closed his eyes, smiling weakly.* "It's fine you don't have to apologize." *He opened his eyes, glistening and wide. He was agape.* "Someone else can...?"

"What?? You can see akuma's souls like Allen??" *Kaele exclaimed, ruining the mood. She kept her right hand on Allen's arm, but leaned down to see Michiyo's face.*

Michi was very much shocked at Kaele's sudden outburst and nearly fainted when Kaele suddenly popped her head directly in front of her face.

"Hai, hai," she nodded. "At first, I thought it was simply ghosts I was seeing, but when I saw the tortured faces these 'spirits' had, I knew they weren't ghosts. I found later that they were the souls of the Akuma, though I can't remember how though."

Michi let out a sigh and muttered, "I highly doubt the Akuma notice I can see their souls."

"They won't unless you attack them while in human form..." *Allen mumbled, his mind in thinking mode. Kaele seemed shocked still.*

"Whoa. And I thought Allen was going to be the only person everr with such an ability." *She murmured, walking around a bit.*

"Kaele, Allen. Get inside already." *Reever ordered, not having heard the conversation.*

*The two went inside, Kaele taking Michiyo in while Allen closed the gate.*

*Allen walked up to the girls, a smile on his face.* "The Science Department will be ecstatic when they hear of this! We'll be able to save so many souls! I can't wait!"

*Kaele smiled, happy to see him out of his short gloomy mood. She jumped onto his back without warning. He groaned but carried her and lead Michiyo to her room.*

Michi turned the volume of her MP3 till she The current song that was playing now was Taeyang of Big Bang's "Wedding Dress". She's quite a fan of that band, but she's even a bigger fan of SHINee, so she changed the song to "Best Place" by them. It was quite a soothing song for her.

"The Science Department will be ecstatic when they hear of this! We'll be able to save so many souls! I can't wait!"

The tomboy looked over at Allen with a smile. "Of course." She broke out into laughter when Kaele suddenly jumped onto Allen's back. Michi allowed Allen to lead her to her room. She then changed her direction of gaze to the front and her eyes grew distant.

Allen's such a sweet guy, Michi thought to herself. I can't be possibly falling for him, can I? He seems so optimistic about saving souls...but how can you save souls?

And she ran into a pillar.

"Waa!" *Kaele exclaimed, seeing Michiyo hit the pillar. Allen hadn't noticed, but realized after Kaele jumped off of him to see if she was alright.*

"Whoa, Michi, are you okay?" *Allen asked, kneeling down beside Kaele, who was moving Michiyo's baggage to the side.*

Wham!

Michi fell backward and remained on the ground for awhile. The force of the impact was quite strong and she nearly blacked out but she managed to retain consciousness. Unfortunately, Michiyo got a huge headache instead of passing out straightaway. Exorcists don't pass out so easily, she thought to herself.

"I'm fine," she reassured Allen, making sure that she doesn't show her discomfort, despite the throbbing pain in her head. Michi pulled herself up, but she stumbled slightly. Allen caught her before she hit the floor.

"I don't think so," Allen said, and swiftly carried her in his arms. Michi turned red immediately and protested, "I'm fine, really!"

Allen ignored her and went ahead. Michi turned to Kaele and mouthed "Help!" with small arm gestures.

Awww mannn~!

*Kaele saw Michiyo's glance for help but she just giggled. She noticed her face was a bright red, and Allen's gentle grip. Her mind clicked. What...? Kaele pondered to herself. What the HEEEEEEELLLL?? Is this girl trying to take my Allen-poo?? HE CANT LIKE HER, HE'S MINE.*

*She glared at the two from being, a gloomy aura around her as she had to carry her foe's baggage. When they got to Michiyo's room and Allen put her down, Kaele dropped the bags and pounced.*

"Eeayah!!" *She cried, clutching to Allen's back like a baby baboon. She pouted and glared at Michiyo, dropping the welcoming feeling she'd had before.*

"Okay..." *Allen mumbled.* "Here's your room, Michi."

*Kaele leaned forward, setting her chin on his right shoulder. She whispered in his ear;* "Let's go get some hamburger~s and maybe some dangooo~s."

*Allen couldn't help but drift off into a trace where little noodles danced everywhere like ballerinas, pork was playing the pianos, while tomato sauce fell like rain.*

*From Kaele and Michiyo's point of view, he was just standing there with his mouth open. Kaele snickered deviously.*

Michiyo was finally relieved that she was put down. Right after she was put down, Kaele then pounced on Allen. Michi once again chuckled at their antics. Then, the girl noticed that Kaele was glaring at her.

Then again, she has been glaring at me ever since Allen carried me...

"If I didn't know better," the tomboy started, a smirk evident on her face. "You guys would be considered a couple. Anyways!"

She advanced towards Kaele and escorted them out. "Thanks for your help! I'll get settled in from here!"

"Wha--??" *Allen exclaimed while being pushed along, his face bright red. He looked over to Kaele, but he could tell before he glanced that she was taking this as a joke. Her lips were puckered a little too much and her eyes were squeezed shut. (( > 3< )) He sighed.*

"See you later, Mimaki-chii~!" *Kaele sang in a sweet, yet threatening tone. (The real meaning being: Touch Allen again, you die~!.*

"Kaele, cut that out!" *Allen scolded, still blushing. (He was the only person able to decode her hidden meanings.)*

OOC: After this conjecture, what do we do now? We should move to the rooms thread or something?

"See you!" Michi shouted back, trying to be a friendly as possible. She wasn't dumb enough to know what Kaele was trying to tell her. She was telling her to stay away from Allen.

I'd gladly do that, Michi thought to herself. Her stomach grumbled. I'm hungry. I'll just go in the opposite direction that they went.

And so she went, but not before changing out of her school uniform. Oh, how comfortable it was, wearing a skirt!
