History: (This is how she became an exorcist) In a cardboard box in a dark alley, a little girl named Amanda-Lyn was sitting on a restaurant staircase playing with an old worn-out doll she found on a bench at the park. To a stranger’s eye, this little girl would look scared and alone in this dark alley all by herself, however it is the opposite. Amanda was happy in that cardboard box in the alleyway; as long as she had her dolly she would be ok. One night, when Amanda was too tired to stay up and play, a strange man walked up to her little cardboard box in the alleyway. “LL-Little G-Girl…” the strange man managed to get out with a strain in his voice. Amanda heard the man but did not even stir. ‘Who would want anything to do with me?’ Amanda thought as she fell back to sleep. “Little girl!” The strange man said with a much louder voice. Amanda turned over to look at the man. He looked like a normal person yet his eyes seemed empty, almost as if they were cut out of their sockets. Amanda jumped to her feet and yelled, “Get away from me!” at the top of her lungs. She cringed as the man stepped forward and said “LITTLE GIRL!” once again. Amanda gave up and answered “What?” in the bravest voice she could manage, which was a pitiful squeal. With a loud roar, a horrible being ripped out of the man’s chest just as it cried, “Do you want to play?!” Amanda dropped to the ground with her arms held out in front of her, shut her eyes and screamed the loudest she could scream. When nothing happened to her, Amanda opened her eyes and realized the creature was gone, and there were two giant beings dressed up in colourful clothing in front of her. Shocked and tired, Amanda passed out on the ground without a sound.
When Amanda woke up, she found herself in a comfortable bed with white sheets and a fluffy pillow. ‘Where am I?” She asked to no one in particular. Out of no where, a strange voice coming from beside her bed answered,”You’re at home, with other people just like you.” Confused, but too tired to question the voice’s answer, Amanda fell asleep.
(Her life before she became an exorcist) “What am I going to do with you?” her father said as he hit Amanda over the face. As her father beat her, he was going on about his horrible life and how she ruined it by killing her mother. “But I didn’t kill her Daddy!” Amanda cried while her father smacked her left cheek. “She died in a car accident!” Before she could say more, her father punched her in the stomach, picked her up and threw her into her room. “Never talk about your mother like that ever again or the next time, it’ll be worse!” her father yelled as he slammed the door shut in Amanda’s face. The beatings from her father were a nightly thing ever since Amanda’s mother died, yet it seemed that they were getting more intense each day. Amanda fell into bed and curled up in her covers, and cried. She usually cried until morning, or until her dad threatened to slap her across the face if she didn’t shut her trap. So, Amanda wept quietly in her room and pulled out the picture of her mother from under her pillow. “Why do I live like this mom? Why did you leave and make daddy so unhappy?” she whispered to the picture she held in front of her. Her mother was a beautiful woman with short blonde hair and soft blue eyes. Amanda didn’t remember much about the years before the accident occurred yet she remembered that her mother was a loving woman and everyone she knew used to say,” You look so much like your mother, Amanda.” She did look like her mother, but her father made her wear contacts to hide her beautiful blue eyes and dye her hair since she reminded him of her mother. Amanda got up from her cramped position on her bed and looked at her mirror, her dyed black hair and purple contacts made Amanda look way older than her actual age. When she felt tears coming to her eyes, Amanda took her contacts out and ran to the bathroom where she stuck her head under the faucet and scrubbed for about an hour. When she looked into the mirror hanging overtop of the sink, her blue eyes and her golden blonde hair made her smile for the first time since the accident. It was then she realized it was time to move on from her terrible life. Moving quick, Amanda checked to see if her father was sleeping, grabbed her favourite doll she received when she was a baby, and ran out the door, relieved that her old life was behind her. The night air was cold on Amanda’s face as she ran down the street, she was only wearing her pyjamas and there was still snow on the ground from the last snowfall. Her feet burned with every step she took but she kept running, she didn’t stop until she reached a large building with a neon sign that read, ‘Mr. Wong’s Chinese Takeout’. With a sigh, Amanda walked over to the side of the restaurant and planted herself in a little cardboard box that was hidden in the alley. The two buildings that made the alley blocked the cold wind and a grate that was connected to the Chinese restaurant blew out warm air that smelled of grease. Amanda looked at her dolly and exclaimed, “Dolly, this is our new home.”
Anti-Akuma Weapon/Noah powers/Akuma Ability: ‘The twin marionettes’ are two fairly large puppets that materialise when Amanda makes strings shoot out of her fingertips. One puppet is her defence, this puppet is always depressed and always wears a black jesters outfit, the other puppet is her attack, this puppet is always happy and excited, and it always wears a red jester’s outfit. Amanda controls the two puppets with the strings connected to her fingertips, the strings cannot be cut and the puppets cannot be destroyed.
Strengths: Amanda is best with ranged combat as her puppets are indestructible.
Weakness: Amanda is not very good at hand to hand combat, the only way to harm her and her puppets is to go hand to hand.
