Name: Shiyou Kinshi
Description: Shiyou has an average frame, stands at 5’6” and weighs about 150 pounds, though the exact weight is unknown. His body is relatively unscarred, though a few cuts and discolorations could be found if you looked closely. His skin is dark, looking very tanned, but not so far as to be brown. He keeps his body in good shape, but not to a point where he is over muscular.
Where his face should be lays a mask. It covers his horribly burnt face completely, covering his eyes nose and mouth. The mouth is turned into a permanent grin, and his eyes are permanently closed, turned up on an angle. On the sides of the face there are black designs that start from the top of the head and go to the chin.
Sticking out from the sides of the mask are two small tubes that wrap behind his head and under his dark black hair, go down his back until they connect to a small system that is concealed in his quiver, one that allows him to breathe. To this date no one person has seen his face.
Also, since the burning left him unable to speak properly, a device was constructed that fits just near the mouth area of Shiyou’s mask. It has many cords that snake into Shiyou’s mouth and allow the device to translate what Shiyou is trying to say into words, which are then said through the small speaker. Unfortunately, this device is not perfect, and makes his voice sound like a robot’s. ((Like Steven Halking))
History: “There was a fire today.”
“Oh yah? Whereabouts?”
“Remember that weird Japanese family that moved in on Border Street? Seems someone don’t like the Asians so much. There was paint all over the place. A lot of hate around there for new things.”
“No one was hurt right? I’m sure I woulda heard if someone was hurt.”
“Thats the thing, they were all killed. The parents bodies were found, burnt almost to the bone, and the boy’s body was burnt so bad it turned to dust. Seems that somehow there was no one in the area while it was burnin’ down.”
“More likely no one cared.”
“Hush, its talk like that that started this stuff.”
“Anyways, bless them. I hope they find peace, wherever they go.”

Shiyou awoke, his mind racing. He couldn’t see! And the pain, the pain. It felt as if his face was pushed against a stove top. He waved his arms wildly and tried to scream, but the movement of his mouth sent shots of agony coursing through him. He started to black out, falling into a blissful blackness that would surely make the pain go away. Just before he fell into blackness, he felt small taloned feet land softly on his arm.
---
When Shiyou awoke again, the pain was gone. No matter how he tried though, he could not open his eyes. And when he reached up and felt his face, instead of the soft skin he was used to he felt a course grainy substance, like burnt toast. He ran his hand across it and felt the general outline of a face, the empty eye sockets, the small bump of a nose, and a small slit in the surface that felt like it should be a mouth.
He tried to speak, call for help, but all that came through his lips was a low wheeze. He felt as if he was crying, his chest was bobbing up and down, but he made no noise, had no tears run down his face. He felt a small soft thing push against his face, and reached out softly. It felt like some sort of bird. When he touched the birds head, a blinding flash went through his brain, and suddenly Shiyou could see. Well, not see through his eyes, but he could feal what was happening around him. Every few seconds he would get a flash of his surroundings that lingered in his mind until the next flash. Shiyou stood slowly and began to walk away, the small bird now resting on his shoulder.
---
Shiyou had been forced to eat food from garbage cans for weeks now, as no one would help him because of his disfigured face. He had felt as his still healing face had lost pieces of flesh, dead skin that was burnt so badly that his body could not heal it. He had recently garnered the courage to feel his face again and had found it to be shaped more like a skeleton than a human face. He no longer had any lips, his nose was mostly bone, and his eyes were burnt completely out, leaving two holes in his skin. He had taken to wearing a paper bag over his head so no one would have to see his face.
He was on the verge of suicide, the only thing that was keeping him going was the constant prodding from the bird that rested on his shoulder, Nearth. And one day, Nearth flew off and found for Shiyou someone who could help him.
He introduced himself as Froi Tiedol, and soon had explained to Shiyou all about the exorcists and the black order. He took him away and off the streets and trained him to be a strong exorcist. Very soon after his training started, Nearth split himself into two parts, creating a weapon for Shiyou to use. Since then, Shiyou has grown in leaps and bounds, and eventually Froi sent him to the Black Order headquarters in Britain, where Komui set him up with the small electronic device that allows him to speak. He has been working for the Black Order ever since.
Abilities: Shiyou has an equipped type anti-akuma weapon. Before it is activated, the weapon is in the form of a falcon that flies around Shiyou, helping him to see, and a wooden short bow that rests across his back. They are both called Nearth, and are both the same weapon, just split into two parts.
The falcon is about a foot tall and has a wingspan of about 3 feet. It is mostly grey with some white accents that start at his chest and go up and around his neck. He is always around Shiyou, helping him and guiding him in everday tasks. He does this because of Shiyou’s blindness.
The bow is a small wooden shortbow that rests across Shiyou’s back. There is no bowstring, but when he notches an arrow a glowing blue string appears. This allows Shiyou to fire much quickly than usual. Also, once an arrow is fired from the bow a new arrow takes its place in the quiver, giving him unlimited ammo.
When Shiyou activates his innocence, Nearth changes shape in both forms. The falcon changes colour, becoming black with a red streak down it’s back, and the bow changes shape. It turns into a compound bow made from a black and red metal, and instead of splitting into two blades it becomes two small hatchets.
Now Shiyou can fire multiple arrows at once, and fire much faster than before. His arms are able to move at twice their regular speed, making his close combat skills much faster as well.
Flying Pain- Shiyou fires a special arrow that splits into 30 small needles. These needles home in on his enemy and are able to pierce fairly far into flesh. Shiyou can also use them to hit nerve points if he infuses them with enough reitsu. This can cause someone to lose feeling in their body parts. Anyone who is fast enough can dodge the attack however.
Fire Arrow – Shiyou shoots an arrow that will explode on contact. The arrow embeds itself into the object or person before exploding, so it causes a lot of damage. These arrows fly a bit slower that his normal arrows, and require a small amount of reitsu to create.
Blades of wrath – His two hatchets become covered in air, making them much sharper and allowing them to cut deeper. It also makes them more aerodynamic, allowing Shiyou to move slightly faster.
