HQ blackout

Candy gave White a confused look as she tipped her head to the side. "What does blunt mean... Oh nevermind... yes! Jerry is the greatest cook ever! That's why I go to the cafeteria so often!" Candy said as she retained her posture.

White smiled, "Yes. It's one of the things I can look forward to after a long mission. Hmm...I hope the power comes back on soon though..." White tensed at another crash of thunder. "Very soon," she added.

Candy grinned as she stuffed her mouth full of stew. "I like blackouts cus they're kinda cozy... wait does that sound weird?" Candy rested her finger on her chin and looked to the ceiling.

"Not at all, Candy," White said. "It's like saying one likes winter because of the cold or they feel reminded of something. I had friends back in America who said things like that ALL the time."

Candy dropped her hand on her lap "You lived in America? Was it cold there?" Candy said making it obvious she did not know a thing about North America.

"Oh, no, not in the South," White said. "I came from the deep South of America. It's very...how should I say this...hot, humid, and muggy. Despite that though, I loved it there. The Northern part of America is cold though."

"oh!" Candy said, taken aback. From some of the stories she heard from other exorcists, she got the impression that America was a cold and barren place. "So what was it like there? I heard that people are really excentric..."

Auqustin walked back out"Ahh thats better" Auqustin sat down in the chair joining candy and white

"I can tell you all about it"Auqustin sughed and started to talk "The winter is magnifacent.....the snow make a silence and a the first snow fall of the year....Ahhhhhh....It makes you feel so warm in side.the rain its wonderfull as well"Auqustin said remembering his travels

"Really? Sounds kinda like Holland... except there isn't as much snow..." Candy told her friends.

White laughed, "Oh, the people are eccentric alright. But what you're describing, Aqustin, is the north and the coastlines. Where I come from, the rain is soothing but the humidity ruins it. And when it is winter, the air is so dry that people often are seen retreating into their houses."

She smiled, fond memories returning, "But despite all that, I still loved it. Especially when people are out, gathered, and sharing their joy with others. That's America...to me anyway."

"Sooo... how do you like Europe so far?" Candy wondered as she stuffed her face full of stew.

White took another bite of her stew, frowned, and said calmly, "Cold. That and the head researcher is a nut. He wanted to look at my brain. Also, the weather here makes me depressed and sometimes the rain scares me but...I like it." White pointed to her abnormally thick exorcist coat.

"Not only does this protect me from the cold, but the Black Order designed it for my innocence so I can use it effectively," White said. "I'm quite thankful for everyone's help here."

candy smiled sweetly, then stuffed her face some more, " I was originally born in europe... I've never been anywhere other than places that are cold... like Canada..." She addmitted.

White laughed again, though it sounded a little more depressed then usual, "Then you would HATE the South." She finished off her stew. "Well, I'm going back to my room and hopefully getting some sleep...nice talking with you Candy."

White attempted to smile, but all she could manage was a small little quirk at the corner of her mouth, looking more like an apologetic and tiny smile.

candy stared at her friend, then shrugged and ate some more stew, "g'bye now!" she yelled after her.

White waved goodbye back and started heading for her room. If luck would have it, she'd find it and then the rest of her days...would be FREAKING AWESOME! And in one of her rare moments, White let out a delighted, happy giggle.

being candy, she started to giggle with White as she left the cafeteria.

Sarina continuesly flicked her ears. "one part i hate about my innocence and being half-cat, My hearing in the storm." she growled. she shifted to her once-in-a-while cat fomr, and padded out searching for mice taking shelter. after a couple minutes of smelling the air, she followed a plump rat to Candy. Unaware of her pressence, she pounced, catching the mouse but rolling into Candy.

"SO YOU REALLY DO EAT MICE!" Candy shreiked with joy and took out a notepad that looked like it had names on it, "Now Allen owes me fifty bucks..." She mumbled as she drew a small checkmark beside Allen's name.

"Thats twice youve found out a strange fact of me..." she mumbled. "hey, can we split that money?" shenasked and laughed nervously.

Candy looked up at Sarina, giggled, then resume crossing off Allen's name. When she stopped giggling, her face turned serious as she said, "no."

Sarina sighed.
