Rock is like A Day To Remember, and Metal is like Dimmu Borgir. Dance or rave is like Basshunter, Alternative is like Imogen Heap or Innerpartysystem. Indie is like some Cobra Starship or All Time Low. Electronica or techno is like Owl City or Discovery. I dunno, there's a lot of definitions for the genres, and there's a lot more than that. ;D
