Missing People and Akuma Sightings -

~~Kenny sat on the curb with his chin in hand. Six hours of nothing but searching had brought boredom and exhaustion. He observed the area around him; Dusty, old, and forgotten. There were old wooden buildings with vines that seemed to dominate a good portion of the town, and cracked stoned tiles in the streets and sidewalks. The lingering odor of sour and rot filled the air. It was strong, strong enough to have an impact on anyone's breathing. And if they had asthma I'm sure it would be living hell for them. Kenny pulled out the sheet of paper and read its contents:
"Several tourists visiting the area have gone missing. Akuma have been sighted in the area. Eradicate the Akuma and find the tourists."
Kenny felt like tearing out his hair out of frustration for having been given such a sorry excuse for a mission. He had searched roughly eight acres of land and hadn't found a single trace of anyone whatsoever. Not knowing what to do now, he decided to just sit and think.

Kenny pulled out a bottle of silver liquid Lavi had left in his room with a note attached. "Tired, bored, angry, take a swig and feel better!!."
Kenny popped of the cork and smelt it. The stench was overwhelmingly bitter. He took a sip, and the fiery liquid went gushing down his throat. It was horribly sour, but kenny had had worse. He resealed the liquid and put it in his pocket for later. He felt a dramatic mood change, but he also felt staggeringly tired. Guess sleeping out here is better than in one of those smelly buildings. Kenny thought serenely. He leaned his head against the jagged stone. It felt like a downy bed, due to his apparent state of euphoria. He was wondering if he should just head back to the order tomorrow and report false information. He shook the rogue thought from his mind; it wasn't like him to think in that manner. He disregarded it anyways.

He then passed out in the middle of a deserted town where Akuma had been sighted and people had been actively disappearing....

But the funny thing was that he really didn't give the slightest care.

*After about an Kenny's passing out, A man in a suit was nudging Kenny with his foot to see if he was dead. The man had been the driver of a carriage that was passing though. When he told his master that they stopped because of a person laying on the road, his master told him to check to see if the poor fellow was alive or not. If not, then they'd continue without any discussion.*

*A young woman popped her head from the carriage. She was getting anxious, she had to make it to Paris in good time.*

"Hm? Is the man well enough to be removed from the roadway?"

"He looks alive Miss. I think he's just a drunkard, but why the heck is he out here?" spoke the driver starting to talk to himself. He then continued speaking to his master, "Should I bring him into the carriage until we pass a town?"

"Yes, bring him to the carriage. Maybe he will wake up and we can hear what he has to say." *The woman opened the door wide as her driver helped the young man up.*

"Yes ma'm" said the driver as he picked the man up and sat him down comfortably across from his Master.

*He then hopped onto his seat and pulled the reins, causing the horses to start up again.*

*The young, classy girl felt it was good karma for a person of her stature to help a lost, drunk young man. She used one of her old hankerchiefs to wipe the dirt from his face. He didn't seem to be poor, his clothes weren't tattered, just dirty from the road. She didn't know what else to do for the unconcious man, so she laid back and enjoyed the remainder of the carriage ride to the next town.*

Legion opened his eyes, took one look at the blazing sun, and yawned. Getting up he stretched out and put on his coat. As his golem came out to meet him he smiled, and patted it affectionately. Its Blue and Black body rested on his shoulder."Nice day, wouldn't you say Honor?"His golem flapped around him, and he smiled."We exorcists don't see too many perfect days... how much you wanna bet some Akuma will feel like attacking us?"Honor flapped and nodded."Well... let's get some grub. Exorcists and Finders are supposed to be meeting up with us soon. Some new innocence in the town nearby, they suspect."Honor twirled around him, and he smiled again. Honor always moved around like this when it agreed or was happy. Legion put on his backpack and walked downstairs to the kitchen of the inn he was visiting. He hadnt eaten since yesterday, and he was starving."Hello sir, what would you like to eat today?" Asked the chef.

"Hmmm... Ill take whatever you got, actually.." Legion smirked.The chef smiled and waved him out of the kitchen, before laughing. "Looks like we'll have to close early today too since our food we got last night will all be gone again.""Dont worry," Legion laughed. "Ive got the funds to cover what I eat.""You better... else Ill have to use you to feed this city till someone else pays me back." The chef laughed, and began making his meal.Legion heard the inn door open, and looked around to see the Exorcists he was to meet up with. He smirked. He remembered the two Exorcists, they were one of the first hosts he had found."Come sit, Thavan, Otaku,nada... its been awhile. The finder you brought with you should come eat too. The Chef is cooking everything up."Nada smiled and brushed away his bangs. "Same old teacher..."

Legion smirked. "Hey a guy has to eat. You do too. You can tell me how things have been with you two since we last departed while we eat. Then we can worry about the innocence."Otaku sat down, and coughed, placing his Daggers of Discord on the Table. "As you can see, Ive gotten quite stronger sir. Ive since been able to activate to stage two.""And your daggers seem to have grown accordingly, Ive noticed." Legion looked at one of the daggers. "Its changed shape a bit... it seems lighter..." He cut his finger on the sharp blade. "Ow... and sharper too." He laughed, along with the two exorcists and the finder. Legion looked over to Nada's staff."How about your Innocence? Have you learned its secrets yet? "

Nada shrugged and grabbed his staff. "Its still only stage one. For some reason it doesn't cooperate much...""Odd... We'll have to figure it out sometime. Be on guard, there is bound to be Akuma nearby.""well then Legion said.I think we should head out "
