A New Exorcist, or just a Loser?

Angel huffed and puffed, stopping again for the fifth time that hour. She looked down at the ground that she couldn’t see again, wondering if what she had started was a good idea. Angel took another breath and reached up again, the wind clawing at her like it wanted to throw her off the face she was climbing. Finding a handhold, Angel pulled herself up and grappled for another place to put her other hand. Her feet scrambled against the side, trying to find a niche to place her feet. Suddenly, her highest hand slipped and she was hanging precariously with the fingertips of her remaining hand and the toes of one foot. Crap! I knew I shouldn’t have started climbing! But what else was I supposed to do?! Master never told me how to get up to the Gate! He just pointed in a general direction. I’m lucky to have even found where the place was! Angel wailed in her head. With a sudden gust, the wind tore at her, breaking what little contact she had with the cliff face.

Suddenly, she was free-falling, with the ground rapidly coming to meet her. Crap! I didn’t want to use them ‘cause I didn’t know how high this cliff went! I’ve got no choice now, unless I want Master yelling at me that I’m a loser…. Angel narrowed her eyes and twisted in the air so that her back was facing the cliff. Innocence! Activate! Out spread Angel’s wings, out came her claws, and her tail was trailing in the air behind her. Keeping her wings in close, Angel slowly unfurled them, changing minute directions of individual feathers and using her tail as a rudder to maneuver herself away from the cliff. Angel could see the ground now and she knew she didn’t have a lot of time. In one sudden motion, Angel flipped herself around and completely opened her wings. Wind rushed into the space displaced by the movement of her wings and filled the space beneath her wings as well. The force of the movement made Angel’s shoulders and wing tendons scream in protest, but she ignored them and instead beat down in one powerful stroke. That stroke stopped her fall and the next sent her ricocheting upwards. A few more flaps found Angel almost to the top and with a more down stroke, Angel crested the lip of the cliff and shot above the ground. She spun around and hung there for a few moments, appreciating the view the Black Order Headquarters had and then half-furled her wings, dropping the few feet to the ground.

Once she stood up, she drew her wings close to her back. They eventually disappeared from view, withdrawing to be one with her body again. She sheathed her claws and retracted her tail. With a small odd pop!, her tail disappeared as well. Sighing, wondering what her Master would be saying right now, Angel turned from the magnificent bird’s eye view and looked at the black tower that rose high above her. Having accomplished actually getting to the Gate, Angel became nervous and a little jittery. She approached the gate with small steps and then stood before it, wondering how she was going to announce herself. Before she had left, Master had told her that he had sent a letter to the person in charge, Koumi? Something like that. Angel couldn’t remember the name Master had said. Angel took in a deep breath and blew it out, staring at the Gate, which, oddly enough, looked like a giant long face. She waited.

Clapping Lavi looked to her, Most Amazeing desply i've seen yet. You the new girl Smileing he walked over from his leaning spot on the door frame which had been up for a good amount of time to have watched the girl stuggle. That mountian can be a stuggle for some Your lucky we were aware of your arrival unlike before. He looked too the door Remember when Allen joined Doorkeep. Tearing the door didn't speak but he indeed remember his mistake.

Walking to the girl he gave his hand over. Names Lavi and welcome to the Black Order.

* Yan had not watched what the new girl had done because she had bandages wrapped around her eyes. She didn't like baby sitting when it came to Lavi because he was always like a kid in a candy store all the time. Yan walked out just after Lavi had to meet the girl and sighed " you really don't know how the door policy works do you? Lavi" Yan said with a hint of slight anger while a small dragon was on Yang's shoulders as she stopped right beside Lavi, her head facing the girl. Yuki just seemed to look at the girl*

Startled, Angel twirled toward the clapping and the voice. She spotted a red-hair male advance toward her, speaking a language she didn’t know, but recognized as Japanese. For a second, she wondered if that simple flight had wearied her out so much that she was already a little weakened, and then pushed the absurd thought away. The guy was just good at hiding, that's all. He was smiling, so Angel guessed he didn’t mean any harm. He stopped in front of her and offered his hand. Angel supposed she should shake it and she moved to do so, but before she did, she heard another voice, female this time, speak from behind the male and soon she saw the new speaker stop beside the redhead, a small dragon-looking like thing settled on her shoulder. The female had stripes of bandages covering her eyes. Angel wondered how she could walk around normally without seeing anything, and then wondered what had caused such an injury. The female had said something as well, but since the only language that Angel understood was English, she couldn’t tell what had been said. She knew it had been aimed at the male and not her, but still, it would help if she knew what was being said around her. Did everyone in the Order speak a different language, ones that she couldn’t understand? That was certainly going to be a problem if it held true. In any case, she had to introduce herself anyway. Just in case, Angel gave a deep bow before saying,

“Hello. My name is Angel. Master told me that I should come to the Order’s Headquarters. He didn’t tell much of anything else. Umm… Nice to meet both of you…. I don’t really know what I should do…..” Here Angel trailed off, seemingly shrinking into herself, making herself look smaller. Her eyes switched from looking at the female to looking at the male and back for any indication that she had been understood at all. Her cheeks reddened a little bit then faded away from slight embarrassment at not knowing any more information.

*noticing that the girl only new English crossed their minds, but as for Yang she turned her head slightly to the side to get a better sound of her voice and smiled. Yuki ( the small dragon) looked up at Yan then turned to look at Angel and opened his mouth a bit just so sound could go threw " A new Exorcists, from Cross I presume? " He said in English so that every one could understand him just as Yan faced Angel again and took a small bow of welcome as her long black hair ruffled in the wind " winter's coming..." she said just under her breath.*

Angel expected something to come from the two people in front of her, but all she got was the female turning her head slightly. Angel assumed it was because of her current impairment and wondered if she could pick up anything special about her in that fashion. The redheaded male didn’t do anything, but the one thing that caught Angel’s attention was the odd dragon-looking like thing on the female’s shoulder. It opened its mouth and spoke! And in perfectly clear English, too. Startled, Angel riveted her undivided attention on the creature and studied it more closely. She had almost forgotten that the thing had been there. It wasn’t much to look, but it apparently had some hidden abilities. Angel couldn’t figure out exactly what the dragon-thing was. Instead, she focused on what the creature had said.

“Umm, no…. My Master is General Zokalo. I don’t know who this Cross is. Is he another General?” Angel said, looking at the dragon-thing, addressing him/her/it directly. She didn’t know what gender, if any at all, the dragon-thing was, but the voice sounded a little like a male’s. She thought of the person named “Cross”. He must be another General, right? That’s the only thing he could be right? It sounded like it anyway. I hope I didn’t make any mistakes…. Am I supposed to know this Cross person? What if Master didn’t tell me something that I needed to know?......... Angel chewed on her lip a little bit as these questions and more circulated around in a whirlwind in her mind. She looked at the dragon-thing to gauge his reaction from her response.

*Yuki kept his straight face as he looked at the girl, then said " it does not matter, you must be tired please come with us " Changing the subject on purpose, then Yang taped yuki on the head " have you forgotten your manners? " She said with a sigh of disappointment. He shuck his head side to side then said " sorry, my name is Yuki and her name is lady Yang"- he then looked over at lavi- " his is Lavi. On behalf of lady Yang I welcome you to the Black order, so please fallow us.." He then looked up at Yang as she smiled at him, Yan turned around and started to go inside*

The dragon-thing’s expression didn’t seem to change as he digested this news. Then, he invited Angel to follow them inside. The female tapped him on the head, reminding him of manners and he apologized and named the three of them. Lady Yang, as the female was called, turned to go inside. The redhead named Levi (Lavi) also turned to follow. Angel hurried after them in the Order’s HQ, wondering what was going to happen now that she had finally gotten in.

(i did make a short post fail....thats only because i had to go :/ Oh don't worry about spelling Lavi's name wrong its because my friends name is named Levi... hehe...sorry)

*Yang continued to walk until she came to Lenalee, and bowed as she gave one back. “oh, who is this? yang-chan?” Lenalee asked “ This is Angel-chan she is new hear..” yang said then yawned at the end, but her hand tried to cover it. “aw to bad i can't go with you two ... oh well i guess i will ses you around though” Lenalee said with some disapointment in her voice. She turned to look at the new girl and waved goodbye, she then turned to face Yang and gave her a clipboard as all the words were in english but that didn't matter because she could understand it. Lenalee had now gone off to go about her own things just as Yang started to write things down.

Auqustin had just returned from a yet another long mission. It was hard just one about stupid innocence when it was a fake report. Auqustin opened the doors and smiled. “Im home” Auqustin said smiling as Lavi and Allen greeting him at the door. Auqustin saw Yan at the other side of the corridor, she was with someone. “Oi Yan-Kun” He said as he walked over to her position in the corridor. It was easy to get lost but Auqustin never really did. He looked at her and gave her a hug. “Glad to see your ok.”

*Yan smiled as she hugged him back, she new with all her heart that it was Auqustin but she was sad she could not see him still. "I'm more or less fine then before you left, I'm glad to feel that your fine" she said then placed her head on his shoulder just as the sound of her bandages were going against skin and hair*

(OOC: Sorry for the absence. Work kept getting in the way.... >.>)

Just as the small group came inside the building, Yang was stopped by another female. This one had very green hair and large eyes. They exchanged pleasantries and then there was more talk that Angel couldn't understand. She heard her name however, and perked up just as the green-haired female waved at her. Angel waved back and then watched as the lady gave a clipboard to Yang and left. Yang started to write something down, but Angel couldn't see it.

Suddenly, there was a loud male voice and a black-haired guy with ribbons in his hair strode up to Yang. He looked kinda handsome, but not quite. Yang and the guy hugged and there was even more talk that Angel couldn't pick a word out of. Angel didn't want to interrupt; she didn't know a whole lot about the situation but, she went ahead and pulled on Yang's sleeve, trying to get her attention.

"Who's this guy?" She whispered. "And who was that green-haired lady? Am I supposed to do something/anything? Where do I go from here? Master didn't tell me much of anything." Angel hoped she wasn't doing anything wrong.

*Yuki when up to the girl and explained to Angel " He is Augustin, and the other female was Lenalee. Don't worry, soon lady yang will guide you " His words were in perfect English.

"Ok." Angel replied. "So, where do we go from here, Lady Yang? I'd like to meet some other people from the Order and see what everyday life is here. Or do you need to talk to Augustin some more?"

Suddenly, Angel's stomach growled really loud. The low rumbling sound echo for a few seconds down the hall, and then echoed again as her stomach growled two more times. Angel's face flushed a bright red and her eyes darted from Augustin, to Lady Yang, to Lavi, and back to Lady Yang. "I guess I'm really hungry from climbing that cliff.... Is there someplace I could get a snack from real quick?"

(OOC: Short posts... *sigh* Can't wait until there's some action and I can make some nice real big paragraphs. XD Not saying anything against the two admins, of course. ^^() )

kiki walked up to the entrance and looked around
