France - Rise of the Dead General

*Yan listened to the three as they talked almost feeling useless again, she looked around because she felt an evil twisted aura coming from behind the undead*
"Oi, if were going to act then we should act soon" Yan said while still looking around*

((Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, but you guys know why. Also, feel free to do whatever with the storyline, since none of it is cast in stone.))

*After the walking dead approached them from all sides, they just stood in silence, as though they were waiting for something. Masque noticed something was up as he cautiously approached one of the hordes. As he got closer he then poked one of them with the end of his staff. The rotten body didn't even seem to notice as he tipped over and collapsed.*

"Something is controlling them," he said aloud so the others could hear him, completely unaware of their discussions about him, "It doesn't matter how we destroy the bodies if we don't find the source."

*Then, just as he said the word 'source' the group of zombies he was facing started to move to the sides of the road, surprising Masque as he stepped back. Soon, a path formed through the corpses, revealing a figure on a horse in the distance. Masque just continued walking backward until he was in the center of the square again. The figure then rode the horse as he headed toward Masque in silence.*

*Kaele and Bookman jumped off the building silently, both having their Innocences invoked. Kaele lithely fluttered about, until she was on the two story building above the horseman. Bookman landed nearby Masque, about nine feet apart. Lavi scrambled for his hammer, eager for the action, and flew across the street on the handle to about the same place Kaele was except on the opposite side.*

"Qu'est-ce que ça? Tu lâches veule!*" *The man yelled, calming his horse. The man glared at Lavi, his cloudy irises sending chills down the exorcist's spine.*

"So." *The horseman shouted in a confident tone of English, full of French accent.* "This trio of children, led by some old guy and a masquerade man, is supposed to stop me, the great General Napoléon Bonaparte?!" *He spat on the bricked street.* "Futile. Tuez-les!!*"

*Lavi, being fluent in French, knew exactly what he'd said. From his actions, Kaele knew as well. Just what anyother enemy says... She thought to herself with a smirk. Lavi lunged forward, his hammer getting bigger and bigger. Only as he got closer did he realize the horseman was also undead. He thought to himself; They all must be.*

*As he threw his mallet to the ground where Napoleon had been, Kaele gasped.*

"Lavi! He disappeared under the street!!" *She screeched, flying through the air frantically, not caring about grace.*

"Eh?!" *He yelled, jumping on his hammer to get off the ground.*

*as Lavi did so, Yan jumped on top of the long handle and slid down, flipped on to the flat surface of Lavi's Hammer*

"Question, General" Yuki said in English for Yan, while Yuki wanted to use some of his power just in case something bad would happen*

*Lavi leapt onto the building where Kaele had been, leaving her to speak with the creepy dead guy. Bookman gave the boy the glare, but Lavi wasn't one much for corpses.*

"Question? Hahh!" *Napoleon's voice said, an audible spit heard. But he was nowhere in the streets, even his horse was missing. Clop clop clop. Kaele turned towards the sound, her arms twins scythes. The figure of a rather short horseman could be seen through the gloomy alleyway.*

"Oh, Mademoiselle, don't look up at a man that way." *The general spoke in a thick French accent, with a somewhat romancy-tone to his voice. The horse came up to about 5 feet away from Kaele before she aimed the blade towards its rider. The man chuckled sadistically.* "You might be stricken."

*In a milliseccond, Napoleon was gone, the crowds of soldiers charging forward in attack. Kaele whipped her arms back to prevent being attacked in a blindspot, but she collapsed from a sharp blow to the head. Lavi and Bookman lunged forward, fearing for the two girls. In the midst of the French soldiers stabbing their bayonets, Bookman slayed a great number of the eerie army. Lavi seemed to be the first one to realize something missing.*

"Jiji!" *He called, swinging his hammer as he spoke.* "I think Napoleon took Kaele!"

"Baka!!!" Yan cried out to Lavi due to the point that he swung his hammer while she was still on it, that made her to flying to in to a the general that just so happen to appear behind her.*

*She gasped for air while she felt some one grab her neck and left her off the ground*

"Oi, oi!" *Lavi exclaimed, prying the soldier off of Yan before hitting it like a baseball.* "Can't you hit these... Dolls instead of clinging to my hammer? It makes it harder to swing." *He tried to speak with humor, but thinking of the things as corpses made them harder to deal with, but dolls seemed much better.*

"How the hell did you find me, old man?" *A man exclaimed with a chuckle. He sounded slightly drunk, and not the least bit French. Lavi groaned, but then smiled a little. 'Least Kaele's not here. He gasped, remembering the fact, and ran for Bookman, taking down 'dolls' as he went.*

"General Cross Marian." *Bookman shouted in what sounded like a bored tone.* "You knew we were here, yet you take so long to appear."

"I had to finish up with the senioritas~." *Cross said with a bad Spanish accent, walking out of one of the buildings on the street, shooting a couple of the soldiers with a regular pistol, too lazy to bring out Judgement.*

"That's..." *Lavi stuttered, torn between saying 'cool' or 'disgusting'. Instead of mentioning it, he muttered;* "We're not in Spain, General."

"I would if you would let me get a chance to get off, and I 'm not that Heavy" Yan said with a bit of an Anger/ sad tone "but thanks for helping" She said again as she activated her Innocence and started cutting the undead while Yuki blew fire on her swords making one by one burn to ashes*

*Yan saw Cross and went over to him while turning the undead into ash "Cross were have you been?" She said as she swung at the Undead that would have hurt him due to his drinking*

*Lavi opened his mouth to argue, but he shrugged. She wouldn't understand his problems, he thought.*

"Where have I been? I don't even remember who you are!" *Cross exclaimed with a hiccup. He staggered forward, shooting randomly, but hitting a soldier with every shot. The Bookmen couldn't help but give kudos to a guy who could hit every mark while as wasted as Cross was.*

"Cross Marian, you say?" *Napoleon asked as he walked from behind the corner, with an escort of corpse soldiers beside him. Lavi gasped when he spotted Kaele unconcious and tied up in Napoleon's arms.*

"Kaele!" *Lavi exclaimed, flinging his hammer onto his back to swing at the man while Bookman snatched her. Napoleon raised his finger, an eerie smile on his decomposed face.*

"Tsk tsk. I just might have to..." *The general brought out a pistol, cocked it, and pointed it at her head. Lavi stopped, as well as Bookman. Cross finally realized the cause of the commotion.*

"Why, Kaele, my star pupil!" *He exclaimed with another hiccup, taking a flimsy step forward.* "Why do you have my daughter, Napoleon-chan?"

"Daughter? Napoleon-chan?" *Lavi whispered to himself, trying to think of how many drinks Cross had. (And how much money he'd blown.)*

"How dare you!" *Napoleon shouted, taking offense to '-chan'.* "I am the same size as--"

"My idiot pupil. About yay high." *Cross held a flat palm on the air at his waist, under-estimating Allen's height either due to his being drunk or just the way he treated the boy.*

*Yan got vary pissed off and stopped moving instantly while the air around her started to spin*
"y-you forget your own students"
*She said in a tone of disappointment and anger. Yan put her swords in the ground and bit her thumb and did hand sighs*

"summoning: blood Dragon J-" *She call out while a giant blood red Japanese Dragon came from her hands and roared vary loudly making hard to hear the resat of Yan's words while headed straight for Napoleon going threw every thing in it's path, with out damaging anything but the Undead, while the undead around Yan had disappeared.*

*Yan fell to her knees felling weak due to the new attack she was not use too and the lack of blood it took from her to make it vary strong*

"Oh, is that wise?" *Napoleon asked, the ominous smirk still on his face. He shot the pistol at the ground, the ricochet hitting one of his own soldiers in the leg. He pointed the gun back at Kaele's still unconcious head.* "These are no blanks. I would advise keeping that dragon--" *Napoleon spat in it's direction.* "--on its leash."

"If you want this girl back, we must make a deal." *The general stated towards Bookman and Masque, not clear on who had been the young exorcist's 'chaperone', but not too worried about it.*

"Nnn?" *Cross mumbled in reply to Yan, taking a good look at her face.* "Oh, oh! You're the dragon girl, okay. I got it." *He tapped his head as he took out Judgement to fire at Napoleon.*

*Napoleon spat on the ground again, seeing Cross' actions.* "Like a drunk can shoot me with a hand gun of that size."

*Yan looked at Napoleon and started to laugh "Dragon's don't have Leashes like you do , they're Wild the only thing that stops them is the bond " Yan said as the blood Dragon went right in front of Kaele pretending her as it roared again while in mid air*

*Yan then Glared at Cross while she tried to stand using her swords to keep her balances* "I'm not the 'Dragon girl' I'm the Japanese Empire's Daughter got that you drunken--" Yan paused thinking if she went on she might have pushed it to far then turned her attentions to Napoleon that was listing to Yan's thoughts*

*Napoleon tried to shoot at Kaele but the Blood Dragon got in the way as the bulled only barley damaged it scales, it snarled at him with disgust. Yuki went in front of Yan and grew four times it's small size then she got on him and sighed*

*Napoleon smirked as he pointed his gun back at Kaele. Then he looked toward the group, waiting for a response. Unfortunately, what he got wasn't what he wanted.*

"I don't make deals," said Masque, though it didn't appear to come from where Masque stood, "I take them"

*It seemed to come back from right above Napoleon, who looked upward as Kaele was taken from his grasp. Masque form soon became visible as he held Kaele in his arms, flying into the sky, and yet, Masque was also standing in the courtyard. He was in two places at once!*

"You really should watch where you point those things," spoke the Masque in the courtyard as he lifted his staff, then the illusion around the corpse Masque was controlling disappeared, revealing the soldier was pointing a rifle at Napoleon as he fired a shot at him.

*Napoleon fell off his horse as the animal scattered away. He glared at the strange man, grasping the gun-shot wound on his shoulder blade. The general stood up, unsheathing his sword.*

*Napoleon yelled this in his angered French accent;* "How dare you?! I will unleash a hell upon you, and it's name shall be--!"

"What hell?" *Lavi asked in a cocky tone, his palm leaning on the handle of his hammer.*

*Napoleon glanced around him, seeing that practically all of his army was gone, and even the ones who were still arriving were being killed on the spot.*

"You filthy, devlish marauders!" *The general screeched, his voice breaking half-way through. Napoleon seemed to fall through the street, retreating to fetch more minions. Bookman pursed his lips, his eyes capturing every moment of the history. Lavi just chuckled.*

"Hypocrite."

*Yan got off Yuki as he when to a small form again and went on her shoulder. The blood Dragon turned to Yan and went to her and stopped roared and went into her making Yan go unconscious and started to fall for word*

*Bookman scuttled over to Yan to make sure she was okay. Lavi glanced at the two, and then back over to Masque who still had Kaele in his grasp.*

*The young redhead walked over calmly, taking his time as he asked;* "Kaele's okay, right?"

*Masque wrapped his cape around the two, and soon they were both on the ground. Masque then placed Kaele on the ground as he took his hat off and reached into it. Then, he removed from it a large crystal ball and placed it onto the ground.*

"This will let us see where he goes," spoke Masque as he placed the hat back onto his head.

"He'll probably be back later with more... Dolls." *Lavi said, feeling uncomfortable half because of talking to the guy Bookman wanted and half because of his semi-phobia. Lavi stopped thinking, and gazed observently at the glass ball. Looks like a huge chunk of smoky glass to me. He thought to himself, glancing back up at Masque and then back down at the ball. How did he have that in his hat?*

"... What's this for?" *Lavi asked hesitantly, gesturing towards the sphere, having heard Kaele's tales of what things this dude could pull out of his hat.*

"Look into it and tell me," he spoke as he thought of the undead general.

*Soon, it showed Napoleon as he rode off into the forest outskirts of the city.*

*Lavi crouched down on his knees, staring into the glass incedulously. Suddenly, Napoleon on his horse manifested in the smoky glass, knocking Lavi back in shock.*

"Wh-What the hell?!" *He gasped, getting back up quickly to press his nose against the cold glass as he 'inspected' it. He backed up again to get a wider view. Lavi debated the issue in his mind with no avail. How does it do that with no wires or tubes? It was just glass before... But Kaele did say he did some really unique things without an Innocence or Noah powers. But how is this possible without them?!*

*Masque glanced up at him and smiled.*

"Its a marvel, isn't it? I picked this up from a gypsy 80 years ago at her deathbed. Luckily, she didn't know, so, no harm, no foul," he said happily as he looked back into the glass, watching as Napoleon dismounted and started shouting something.

*Unfortunately, no one could hear it since this could only show whats happening. Soon after, undead started rising in glass, and Akuma seemed to float toward Napoleon, level 1's and level 2's.*

"Eigh--??" *Lavi stuttered, unconciously grimacing in surprise. He thought about it for a moment, and calmed down. It's not really too surprising, okay? Chill.*

*Lavi noticed Napoleon's mouth wide open, as if he was yelling something. Various eerie shadows crept out of the woods, frightening the horse. The general calmed it, allowing the akuma to creep closer and closer. The young Bookman watched intently before shooting up and running towards the old man.*

"Jiji! Jiji! Come on, there's something going on with Napoleon in the outskirts of town!" *Lavi exclaimed, pointing towards Masque and his smoky glass ball. Bookman glanced in the direction and then back at his apprentice.*

"I'm coming, boy, don't rush me!" *Bookman handed Yan to Lavi, who awkwardly slung her over his shoulder. The two walked back over to Masque and Kaele.*

*Yuki flew over to Lavi and landed on his shoulder and he too looked in to the glass. while Yan was still on the ground unconscious*

"Watcha lookin' at?" said the drunken Cross as he waved Judgement around, staggering over to the group, "And why is that clown here?"

"Clown?" said Masque in displeasure as he looked up at Cross, "Oh. Its you. Damn drunkard."

"Don't call me d--" *Cross paused for a hiccup.* "Damn anything!"

*Lavi broke out laughing at the drunkened general. Cross glared at the boy and then noticed Bookman. Cross sighed and scratched his scalp with Judgement's barrel.*

"As I was going to say," *Bookman started, glancing at Cross who was silently observing.* "Did you say you got this from a gypsy 80 years ago? Did you get it from an Italian woman named 'Tzigane Marabini'?"
