France - Rise of the Dead General

*As Lavi broke out Laughing Yuki glared at him as he dug his Talons (claws) in Lavi's shoulder while he growled at him in a low manner, but loud enough for him to hear*

"Itaiii!" *Lavi exclaimed under his breath, trying not to interrupt their conversation. He grabbed the little dragon and held it up to his face.* "What's wrong with laughing, you little--!" *Lavi stopped scolding it; he didn't want it to tattle on him to Yan later.*

"How are you old enough to know her?" shot back Masque as he glanced at Bookman, annoyed at how he likes to intrude.

*Lavi chuckled more. He then saw Bookman glare at him, so he sighed and instead looked back at the crystal, trying to figure out just how it functioned when he noticed it was looking at Bookman.*

"Oi! Whats going on?" asked Lavi as he looked up at Masque.

"Sorry, you have to keep your thoughts on the subject you want to see." spoke Masque as he returned it back on Napoleon, who appeared to have a larger army than before gathered.

*Yuki snarled at Lavi for picking him up how he did and got out of his grasp "that was a warning" He said aloud for him to hear in Japanese*

"Fff." *Lavi told the dragon after glancing back at the glass uneasily.*

*Bookman smirked at the sharpness of Masque's tone.* "History books. Oral traditions. Folk tales. I would have only been of eight years when she died. Back to what I was saying..."

"What the hell is that!?!??" *Cross exclaimed, pointing Judgement at Yuki on Lavi's shoulder. Lavi shrieked, jumping out of the way. Cross sighed, putting Judgement away with a frown. "Hmph. Not worth the bullets."

*Bookman kicked Cross in the face, rendering him silent for the moment, while he scolded Lavi for being an idiot. He exhaled sharply, glancing at the two before continuing.* "AS I WAS SAYING... Marabini and her work is in the accounts of former Bookmen quite frequently; she was a unique character, much like yourself. Might you explain how you came upon such a woman, or did you know her personally?"

*Yuki snarled at Cross with anger, then saw Bookman kick him in that face then went over to Masque still uneasy about him but thought he could stay near him with out Him freaking out or flipping out like Lavi did or anything odd*

"I was passing through," said Masque bluntly before looking at the little winged dragon, smiling, "Well, aren't you an amazing little thing? I have one just like you."

*The Crystal once more changed who it was paying attention to and was now on the Blood Dragon.*

"Mmm." *Bookman mumbled, deep in thought.* "What of Paris? Is there a specific reason you are here now?"

*Lavi glanced at the ball while walking over to Kaele, who seemed to be stirring.*

"Nnn...?" *She murmured as he walked over with a smile.*

"Never thought you would be a damsel in distress, to be honest." *Lavi commented with a shrug. She gasped, punching his shoulder.*

"What happened to me??" *She asked, exclaiming at first before she noticed the conversation beside her. He sighed, explaining quickly. She nodded, checking herself for injuries. She noticed Yan unconcious, but Lavi explained before she could get too alarmed. Kaele bit her lip, walking around a bit with her fingers stretched out.* "... Okayy. Why aren't we fighting Napoleon right now?"

*Yuki looked at Masque strangely "that would explain your aura, but not the question of how you came a cross one" He said as he went to Masque's shoulder, while Ignoring Kaele*

"I don't know, why are you here?" asked Masque as he looked at the ball again, it appeared as though it was a fairly sizable army of Akuma and undead that was now nearing the town's edge, "Don't Bookmen have better things to do than pester people?"

Then, Masque replied to the little dragon, "I collect things of great magical importance. Afterall, I don't want them being damaged by other people's recklessness."

"No~." *Lavi interrupted in almost a song. Bookman kicked his ribs, telling him to shut up.*

*Kaele got fed up and walked towards the edge of town she believed the one in the ball to be. She didn't really care if anybody followed her, she was mad at Napoleon and wanted to (re-)kill him herself.*

"What?. . . .so you took the first one you saw as a pet" Yuki said as anger swelled in him
" Dragon's are not to keep as pet to death, were meant to fight, rule, protect, and have a meanings" He said with a low growling sound *

"Not quite. I rescued him from his former 'Master'." replied Masque, "He was going to use him to try toppling the English Bloodline."

*Masque then saw Kaele walk into an area where there were Akuma and blinked.*

"Kaele?" he called looking up, "Oh great, she's decided to face them by herself. Well, lets get moving."

*He quickly stood up and placed the ball back into his hat, gripping the staff as he used it to accelerate himself as he zoomed to the place Kaele was.*

*Yuki said nothing. . . .then when Masque started to go after Kaele he used his Talons and clung on to his clothing*

"Oi, oi!" *Lavi exclaimed, running after them without thinking of his hammer. Bookman sighed, following hesitantly.*

*Kaele glanced behind herself, having heard Masque's approach. She morphed her forearm into a small scythe, putting the thick of the blade on Masque's neck as he came up, leaning into her arm.*

"Hey! Wait for me!" shouted Lavi as he used his hammer's handle to extend himself to the area.

*Meanwhile, Bookman attended to Yang, thinking to himself Why is everyone so impatient nowadays? I have to stay with this young Exorcist before I can assist the others.

Masque had just stopped in time as Kaele placed her arm in front of Masque, nearly making him knock himself over, but then he saw why she did that. In front of them were a line of Akuma and undead. It was odd that they hadn't attacked like they usually would. It was as if they were waiting a command. Then, from the middle of the line rode out Napoleon on his horse, saber in hand.*

"You insolent fools!" he shouted in his thick accent, "You shall learn to respect your superiors!"

*And with that, he held his saber high, signaling all of them to move as one, charging as one entity. Masque readied his staff as they came forward. He saw so many trapped souls, and frankly, he was ready to collect them all.*

(okay. . . . but umm what are we looking for )
*Yuki looked at Masque as if he looked like he wanted something from the army oh Undead and Akuma but was not sure what "what do you plan to do now?" he asked getting suspicious*

(( HOLY SHIET NAPOLEON SAID A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS?? D: Didn't know that. o__o ))

*Kaele jumped into the air as one of the seven level 3's aimed for her neck. It's blade barely touched her, only slicing the outer layer of her uniform. She lunged forward, using air as her footholds until she landed on the back of a level 1. As it readied bullets, she stretched her foot through the shell and jumped as it exploded. After only a few minutes of battle, Kaele and Masque had already taken out over half the army, save the level 3's, which Kaele still hadn't mastered.*

"This is a cake-walk!" *She exclaimed with delight as the akumas exploded like fireworks and the undead fell to the ground lifelessly. Kaele felt sadistic, but she couldn't help but love the adrenaline of fighting so many.*

*Yan started to wake up while Bookman was still making sure she was okay8

*Yuki again clung on to Masque's clothing before he did anything*

((....lol....you godmodded me, Kaele....lmao....its a good thing I was going to do something similar anyway....))

*Masque used his staff to fly as the Akuma started their assault. Most of them were weaker, so Masque had no difficulty taking their souls. But he saw that much more was coming. This really was an army.

Lavi used his hammer to pound out chunks of the army as he got there, though the 'dolls' still freaked him out, they were just an inconvenience.*

"your taking there souls?"Yuki said oddly while blowing flame at the Akuma*

"Hmph!" *Napoleon pulled on the harness of his horse, an unsettling feeling in his decomposed bones. He pulled a small flare gun out of the harness, shooting it into the air. It exploded, a red firework in the dark blue sky.*

*Kaele swept through from one of the surrounding trees, slicing the akumas in half as she swung by. As she came back up, she noticed the red fiery pieces falling from a line of smoke leading back to Napoleon's smirking face. She was suddenly filled with rage. She landed on the ground, pushing her shield out as far as it could go, imploding the akuma as it expanded. It snapped back quickly, taking the breath from her lungs. Something caught her ear, she looked over at Masque and the dragon.*

"Stealing souls??" *She exclaimed, balling her hands in fists. After years of being with Allen and Cross, she'd adapted their morals, one of them being the preservation of souls. (Of course.) Kaele jumped, skipping across the way while destroying every akuma she stepped on. I can't see their souls like Allen can, but I know they're going where they're supposed to! Master told me only exorcists could save souls... I never thought about Masque..!! She thought it through in her head, only getting more enraged.*

*Meanwhile, the flare sent another surge of akuma over the hill. Napoleon chuckled as he calmed his horse.*

*Yan made a low sounded noise that meant she was going to wake up soon. Bookman heard the noise and sat her up against a light pole*

*Masque continued his onslaught, but the numbers were getting ridiculous. For every one that was destroyed, 4 took their place. It was a chaotic mess, and the enemies were just getting stronger. It was as though the waves were getting more difficult at a constant rate, weakening them so they fought more sluggishly against the more difficult enemies. From his staff, he summoned all manner of magic to destroy them. Winds, Ice, Earth, Lightening, Time Distortion. All from his staff. Not including some of the other abilities gotten from his items.*

*Yuki was kinda impressed by Masque's power, but couldn't help thinking what would happen next of the Generals planes*

*Yan opened her eyes and looked around "When did an army come hear?" she asked as she tried to stand but failed. Bookman didn't say any thing he just looked at her in his grumpy mod*
